This annual release is part of the Current Agricultural Industrial Report (CAIR) program, and covers the crush of oilseeds and production of crude oil for selected states and the U.S. as well as U.S. production and consumption of selected fats and oils for edible and inedible uses. The end-of-month stock values by oilseed are also published. Data is organized by oilseed and by month, with total annual values also available. The report is compiled from data from facilities regarding oilseed crushing, crude oil production, once refined oil production, rendering production, and end of month stocks for the previous calendar month.

This monthly and annual release contains state and U.S. totals of the number of heads and live weight of chickens, turkeys, ducks, and other poultry slaughtered under federal inspection. Also included are average live weights, pounds certified,and ante-mortem and post-mortem condemnations by type and month. Data for poultry slaughter estimates are collected by inspectors of the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and the USDA.

This annual report contains corn, soybean, wheat, and cotton price reactions to the USDA Crop Production and Grain Stocks reports starting from 1984-89 to the past year. Each year, estimates of corn, soybean, wheat, and cotton production are published in the monthly Crop Production reports. The data contained in this report is organized by year and month, and prior closing price and reactionary prices a day after and week after the release of a report. This report does not imply that NASS reports are solely responsible for changes to the price level for commodities referenced in the publication. The price level for any commodity can potentially be affected by other information available to the market at that time but ultimately is determined by supply and demand.

This report is released on or near the first Tuesday of the month in December, January, February, and March. The report includes weather and crop summaries for 44 states and New England area. This full-text file lists an assessment of winter weather on crops, livestock, fruit trees; consideration for moisture, snow cover, temperatures, and crop condition; and the effect of weather, insects, diseases, etc., on crops and livestock. The data, summarized by crop and by state, are republished along with any corrections in the Weekly Weather and Crop Bulletin.Prior to April 7, 2015, this report was released weekly through the summer growing season. All of the estimates which would have been in these reports are available through the NASS Quick Stats database after 4:00 pm ET on the first business day of the week during the summer growing season.

This annual report contains U.S. commercial hatchery data on the number of broiler-type and egg-type chicks hatched monthly in major states and U.S., the number of eggs in incubators on the first of each month by region and U.S., broiler chicks placed and eggs set by week for 19 selected states and the U.S., and U.S. turkey poults placed and turkey eggs in incubators. Data for this report is collected from all known hatcheries with the capacity to hold at least 1,000 chicken and/or turkey eggs.
