Honey
This file contains the annual report of the number of colonies producing honey, yield per colony, honey production, average price, price by color class and value; honey stocks by state and U.S. The report also notes trends and changes in the honey producing sector, such as percent change in honey prices or quantity of production. The data for this report were collected from a stratified sample of all known operations that also meet USDA's definition of a farm, prices were collected by color class and marketing channel from operations with five or more colonies.

This annual report contains corn, soybean, wheat, and cotton price reactions to the USDA Crop Production and Grain Stocks reports starting from 1984-89 to the past year. Each year, estimates of corn, soybean, wheat, and cotton production are published in the monthly Crop Production reports. The data contained in this report is organized by year and month, and prior closing price and reactionary prices a day after and week after the release of a report. This report does not imply that NASS reports are solely responsible for changes to the price level for commodities referenced in the publication. The price level for any commodity can potentially be affected by other information available to the market at that time but ultimately is determined by supply and demand.

This report is published weekly on Wednesday and includes the number of broiler chicks placed and eggs set for the published states and United States for the most recent completed week along with the revisions for the preceding five weeks. The report also highlights the average hatchability for chicks hatched during the week in the United States. Data for this report is obtained from broiler-type hatcheries that hatch at least one million chicks per year.

The World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) is prepared and released by the World Agricultural Outlook Board (WAOB). The report is released monthly, and provides annual forecasts for supply and use of U.S. and world wheat, rice, coarse grains, oilseeds, and cotton. The report also covers U.S. supply and use of sugar, meat, poultry eggs and milk, as well as Mexico’s supply and use of sugar. The WAOB chairs the Interagency Commodity Estimates Committees (ICECs), which include analysts from key USDA agencies who compile and interpret information from USDA and other domestic and foreign sources to produce the report. The Weekly Weather and Crop Bulletin is released by 4:00 p.m. on the second workday of each week. The Bulletin includes the National Summary, State Stories, current data for weather, temperature and precipitation and international agricultural weather. The full report is jointly published by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the National Agricultural Statistics Service, and the World Agricultural Outlook Board.
NOTE: Due to a lapse in government funding from October 1 to November 12, 2025, the USDA paused publication of the Weekly Weather Bulletin, leading to six delayed editions. On November 17, the USDA released these editions; however, please note that they do not contain full reports.

This report is released on or near the first Tuesday of the month in December, January, February, and March. The report includes weather and crop summaries for 44 states and New England area. This full-text file lists an assessment of winter weather on crops, livestock, fruit trees; consideration for moisture, snow cover, temperatures, and crop condition; and the effect of weather, insects, diseases, etc., on crops and livestock. The data, summarized by crop and by state, are republished along with any corrections in the Weekly Weather and Crop Bulletin.Prior to April 7, 2015, this report was released weekly through the summer growing season. All of the estimates which would have been in these reports are available through the NASS Quick Stats database after 4:00 pm ET on the first business day of the week during the summer growing season.
