This special report provides an overview of the United States slaughter industry, encompassing both poultry and red meat production. Included in the report is data on number of heads, average live weight, average dressed weight, number of operations, production, and post-mortem and ante-mortem condemnation (for poultry). The data was obtained through inspectors from the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and USDA.

This report surveys monthly and cumulative quantities of catfish delivered in the United States, including fingerlings, broodfish, and foodsize catfish. The report refers strictly to catfish feed delivered to bona fide catfish producers and excludes catfish feed delivered to producers of other species. The totals include both bagged and bulk feed.

This monthly full-text file contains the most current information on farm-raised catfish, including round weight purchased, prices paid, inventory, quantity sold, price, imports and exports. This report is supplemented by Catfish Production. The report refers strictly to farm-raised fish and excludes wild captured fish.

This report is a survey conducted by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) as part of the NIOSH Occupational Injury Surveillance of Production Agriculture project, and contains information on occupational injuries to adults on farms in the US in 2001, 2004, and 2009. Demographic information, source of injury, and changes in incidence of farm injuries are included in the survey.

This report is the product of a telephone survey of farm operators to obtain information for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. The survey was conducted to understand the scope and magnitude of hazards on agricultural operations, including the sources of hazards and the leading causes of occupational injuries. Farm operators were asked questions about their farm tractors and other safety and health issues associated with their farm in 2011.

This report, released annually from 1991 to 2013, includes statistics about on-farm fertilizer and pesticide usage, and pest management practices on selected field crops and potatoes. Prevention, avoidance, monitoring, and suppression practices are also investigated in the survey. Beginning in May 2010, NASS agricultural chemical use data are published to the Quick Stats 2.0 database only (full-text publications have been discontinued), and can be found under the NASS Chemical Usage Program.

This release includes statistics for on-farm use of agricultural chemicals and pest management practices from producers of targeted fruit crops in major producing states. The survey population consisted of fruit and berry growers and the survey was intended to provide estimates of chemical usage at the state level. On non-survey year, acreage is based on trends, county extension service data, end of year production surveys, and other indicators. Beginning in May 2010, NASS agricultural chemical use data are published to the Quick Stats 2.0 database only (full-text publications have been discontinued), the latest data releases are available under the NASS Chemical Usage Program

This report contains the annual summary for dairy, poultry, and slaughter on farms and in commercial plants, as well as coffee, for Puerto Rico. Dairy estimates include milk cows, production of milk, milkfat, milk used, marketings and value. Poultry estimates include layer and egg production, pullets, other chickens, value, and price. Slaughter estimates include, red meat production, number of plants and head slaughtered. Data on coffee includes the harvested acreage, yield, production, value, and price of coffee. Also included is data on the number of farms, land in farms, and average size as an aggregate and by economic class.
