This annual release contains regional and national data for self-employed, unpaid, and hired workers and wage rates for selected weeks; also included in the report are the hired worker numbers and wage rates for selected states and changes in farm workers per region. The data is published in wage rates by type of worker and number of workers and hours worked by region and U.S., as well as wage rates and hired workers by economic class of farm or type of farm. Finally, there is also data presented in hired workers and wages by the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system. Data for the report comes from the NASS Farm Labor Survey, which targets farms and ranches with $1,000 or more in agricultural sales or potential sales.

This report contains data for 1964.

This publication includes information on the fertilizer products marketed for farm and nonfarm consumption and their primary plant-nutrient contents. Data is presented annually (at a minimum) for individual States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. This publication ceased production in 1971 after being produced from 1953 to 1970.

This annual summary contains revised weekly weighted average prices received and aggregated volumes of sales of cheddar cheese, butter, nonfat dry milk, and dry whey. All revised estimates are based on three data sources: Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS) verification data performed by AMS auditors, resubmitted data to correct inaccuracies exposed by NASS during data analysis and/or discrepancy evaluation, and resubmitted data inaccuracies discovered by the plant during an internal review of program specifications to comply with the mandatory reporting rules. This publication reports estimates of property taxes levied on farmers, by State, for both real estate and personal property. This report contains data from years 1909 to 1954.

This handbook identifies the usual planting and harvesting dates for fresh market and processing vegetables as well as principal producing counties and major varieties for the vegetables covered in the National Agricultural Statistics Service's national program of crop estimates. It updates the information contained in the previous edition of this handbook issued 1977.

Beginning in 1955, separate estimates were made for the production of chicks hatched for broilers and those hatched for egg production. This series contains data from 1938 to 1959, excluding data from 1944 to 1949.

This publication provides data on meat meal and tankage production on a semiannual basis. It was produced from 1945 to 1965. Once discontinued in 1965, the information started to be gathered with the Census questionnaires and reported in the monthly Bureau of Census report M 20 K.

This publication reports on the average price of farm products received by producers at point of first sale. Products include livestock, dairy, and poultry and related products, with earlier reports including vegetables and other farm products. The prices are organized by State and contain data from years 1866 to 1982.

This full-text annual report presents data on indicated cranberry production for the current year by states; includes acreage, yield, production, utilization, price, and value for previous two years' crops by states. It also provides a forecast of expectations from growers based on weather conditions and predictions.

This publication reports on the naval store industry. Statistics are presented on production, supply, consumption, price and value, stocks, still output by states, and imports and exports, for gum, wood, turpentine, and rosin. This report contains data from years 1900 to 1954.

Notice: This report has been discontinued as of Dec. 28, 2010. Weekly crop updates will continue to be available in NASS's Crop Progress report, released every Monday during the growing season. Agricultural weather-related information will continue to be published weekly by the USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board (WAOB), which publishes the Weekly Weather and Crop Bulletin every Wednesday at noon. Formerly, NASS' report contained weekly national agricultural weather summaries, including the weather's effect on crops; summaries and farm progress for 44 states and New England area. This report includes corrections to the Crop Progress data released the previous day.

This full-text file presents the annual summary of indexes of prices received and paid by farmers; prices received for farm commodities by states and prices paid for production items by region and the U.S., past year and earlier years. Beginning in 2010, the Agricultural Prices Summary is no longer published. All price data series are available from NASS's online Quick Stats database. This data is updated monthly by commodity with the most current estimates available.

The information in this statistical bulletin was published between 1949 and 1965 and contains data extending back to 1900. The Feed Statistics series presented here provide information on stocks, production, supplies, utilization, commercial movement, foreign trade, and prices of grains and feeds for wheat, rye and rice. The Grain and Feed Statistics series also provides information on acreage, yield, price, supply and stocks.

This publication provides information about the production of potatoes and major stocks for each potato-producing state in the U.S. This publication follows the previously titled Potato Stocks and Production.

This publication presented the final marketing year average (MYA) prices received by farmers and the value of production for most U.S. field crops, fruits, and vegetables for years 1919 to 2012. Data included in this publication provide a historic record and a benchmark for current estimates.
