This full-text annual report presents acreage by planted and/or harvested areas by state for corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, barley, rye, sorghum, rice, peanuts, sunflower, flaxseed, canola, rapeseed, safflower, mustard seed, cotton, dry beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, sugarbeets, alfalfa hay, tobacco, and sugarcane. Starting in 2000, genetically modified plants are reported for selected crops. The Acreage report is a supplement to Crop Production, and the 1986, 1987, 1988, and 1989 issues of Acreage are included in the July Crop Production report itself.

This annual release contains regional and national data for self-employed, unpaid, and hired workers and wage rates for selected weeks; also included in the report are the hired worker numbers and wage rates for selected states and changes in farm workers per region. The data is published in wage rates by type of worker and number of workers and hours worked by region and U.S., as well as wage rates and hired workers by economic class of farm or type of farm. Finally, there is also data presented in hired workers and wages by the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system. Data for the report comes from the NASS Farm Labor Survey, which targets farms and ranches with $1,000 or more in agricultural sales or potential sales.

This full-text file presents the annual data on cotton production, including running bales ginned, 480-pound bales produced, average bale weight, and number of active cotton gins by state and county for each survey period. This is a supplement to Cotton ginnings.

This release contains preliminary and annual summaries of acreage, yield, production, use, price and value by states of the noncitrus fruit and nut crop by state. Statistics provided in this report include fruit bearing acreage, yield, utilized and unutilized production, price, and value by crop, and prices received, and area harvested. Commentary on changes and estimations for the fruits and nuts discussed, as well as the start and end dates of marketing seasons for each crop are included in the report. The data is provided by monthly grower surveys on crop condition, yield, acreage, and production. Annual surveys on quantity handle, utilization, and origin of commodity are also conducted .

This report is part of the Current Agricultural Industrial Reports (CAIR) program, data was obtained by surveying mills for data. Quarterly and annual consumption of wheat and rye for flour, production of flour, whole wheat flour, and millfeed, and 24 hour milling capacity by region and U.S. are covered in this report.

This report contains the annual number of milk cows, production per cow, and production for the year by state and U.S., the amount of milk used on farms and amount sold, cash receipts, and the value of milk production by the states and U.S.. This report is a supplement to Milk Production.

This file presents the annual estimates of production and value for commercial broilers, eggs, turkeys raised, and chickens lost or sold for slaughter by states and U.S. The report also highlights changes in the data in comparison to the previous years. This report supplements Broiler Hatchery, Chickens and Eggs, and Turkey Hatchery, and continues Poultry Production, Disposition, and Income. These estimates were based on inventory, disposition, production, and price estimates as published in various NASS poultry and agricultural prices reports, as well as information on imports, exports, and slaughter obtained from other sources

This full-text report provides the annual balance sheet and income estimates for cattle and hogs. Releases prior to 2012 also include estimates for sheep. Statistics included are estimates of beginning and ending inventories, births, deaths, inshipments, marketings, and ending inventories; also total production and marketings in pounds, average prices, value of production, cash receipts, home consumption, and gross marketings by state and U.S., for previous years.

This annual summary contains revised production by month of butter, cheese, frozen dairy products, evaporated, condensed, and dry milk and whey products; shipments and stocks of dry milk and whey products for major states, the U.S. and for the West, Central, and Atlantic regions.

This file contains the annual summary for total livestock slaughter and red meat production in commercial plants and on farms for the U.S.; red meat includes beef, veal, pork, and lamb and mutton slaughter. The number of cattle, calves, hogs, and sheep slaughtered and number of federally inspected plants are available by size group, and the number of livestock slaughter plants by type of inspection are also available in this report. Data for this publication comes from reports completed by the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), and USDA, combined with data from State-administered Non-Federally Inspected (NFI) slaughter plants.

The Hemp Production, Disposition and Income Survey collects information on the acreage, yield, production, price, and value of hemp in the United States. The Domestic Hemp Production Program established in the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (2018 Farm Bill) allows for the cultivation of hemp under certain conditions. The Hemp Production, Disposition and Income Survey will provide needed data about the hemp industry to assist producers, regulatory agencies, state governments, processors, and other key industry entities.

This monthly report provides historic estimates of acreage, yield, production, market year average price, and value; comparisons of preliminary and final planted and harvested acreage estimates; and comparisons of production forecasts versus end-of-year and final production estimates. Includes information about barley, canola, corn, cotton, flaxseed, hay, oats, peanuts, rice, rye, sorghum, soybeans, sunflower, wheat, durum, beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tobacco, and sugar crops.

This annual report contains U.S. commercial hatchery data on the number of broiler-type and egg-type chicks hatched monthly in major states and U.S., the number of eggs in incubators on the first of each month by region and U.S., broiler chicks placed and eggs set by week for 19 selected states and the U.S., and U.S. turkey poults placed and turkey eggs in incubators. Data for this report is collected from all known hatcheries with the capacity to hold at least 1,000 chicken and/or turkey eggs.

This report contains the expected plantings and last year's harvest for principal crops and tobacco presented on a state basis. Principal crops are as follows: corn, all wheat, winter wheat, durum wheat, other spring wheat, oats, barley, flaxseed, cotton, rice, all sorghum, sweet potatoes, dry edible beans, soybeans, sunflower, peanuts, sugarbeets, canola, and proso millet.

This file contains the annual report of the number of colonies producing honey, yield per colony, honey production, average price, price by color class and value; honey stocks by state and U.S. The report also notes trends and changes in the honey producing sector, such as percent change in honey prices or quantity of production. The data for this report were collected from a stratified sample of all known operations that also meet USDA's definition of a farm, prices were collected by color class and marketing channel from operations with five or more colonies.

This publication is a result of a joint effort by Statistics Canada and NASS to release the soybean and canola seed crushings information for both countries within one publication. United States soybean and oilseed crushings numbers for 2018 were previously released on March 15, 2019. Canadian soybean and oilseed crushings were released on March 22, 2019.

This annual report contains corn, soybean, wheat, and cotton price reactions to the USDA Crop Production and Grain Stocks reports starting from 1984-89 to the past year. Each year, estimates of corn, soybean, wheat, and cotton production are published in the monthly Crop Production reports. The data contained in this report is organized by year and month, and prior closing price and reactionary prices a day after and week after the release of a report. This report does not imply that NASS reports are solely responsible for changes to the price level for commodities referenced in the publication. The price level for any commodity can potentially be affected by other information available to the market at that time but ultimately is determined by supply and demand.

This annual report contains price reactions to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Cattle on Feed, Quarterly Hogs and Pigs, and Milk Production reports. Contained in the report are annual and quarterly increases and decreases in prices in the week prior to release and week after release for cattle, hogs, butter, barrel cheddar, and block cheddar. This report does not imply that NASS reports are solely responsible for changes to the price level for commodities referenced in the publication. The price level for any commodity can potentially be affected by other information available to the market at that time but ultimately is determined by supply and demand.

This annual publication includes data on agricultural production, supplies, consumption, facilities, costs, and returns and is intended as a reference for common use. Foreign agricultural trade statistics of government and non-government shipments from the U.S. to foreign countries are also included in the report. Estimates made for crops, livestock, and poultry are based on a number of sample surveys. The report is divided by sector (e.g. oilseeds, fats and oils, vegetables and melons, dairy and poultry, etc). Farm expenditures and income, insurance, fertilizer and pesticide, consumption, and conservation and forestry statistics are also included in the report.
